Denis McKim's teaching and research interests revolve around the (often interrelated) histories of Canada, the United States, and the Atlantic World. He is the author of Boundless Dominion: Providence, Politics, and the Early Canadian Presbyterian Worldview (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2017) and is at work on an intellectual biography of George Brown. He is a co-founding editor of Borealia. Borealia was an academic group blog on early Canadian history, featuring writing by regular, occasional, and guest contributors.
