1. Test Scoring and Reporting Services

Scoring of standardized tests will be undertaken as usual
until early March, 1986. All of the regular services such as
test answer sheets, optical scanning, scoring and reporting
will be provided until March 14, 1986. No scoring jobs will
be accepted after March 14, 1986 for processing.

2. Workshops

Workshops will be offered until March 31, depending upon staff
availability.

3. Grants Programs

The Grants Programs were suspended in September 1985 and will
no longer be operational. All present grant recipients have
been notified of the dissolution of ERIBC and how this decision
will affect such grant projects.

4. Research Studies and Evaluation Studies

The professional staff are in the midst of a number of survey/
evaluation studies for several school districts and we antici-
pate that these will all be completed by the end of March 1986.

5. English Placement Test (EPT)

ERIBC will conduct the EPT as usual with the major March public
sitting to take place on March 8, 1986 and sittings for secon-
dary schools which will provide administration of the EPT on
March 7, 1986.

All scores will be mailed to students as soon as possible
after these dates.

We wish to advise you that along with our wind-up activities, we plan
to take steps which will lead to the the continuation of ERIBC services to
the largest extent possible following the dissolution of the Institute.

We will advise you of the results of these efforts at the earliest possible
date in order that your planning activites are not unduly affected.

It is with great regret that the Institute is providing this notice of
dissolution to those who have supported our work and shared in the benefits
of our programs and services over these past many years.
